Community Partner: University of Nebraska at Omaha – Office of Latino/Latin American Studies

How would the Latino population impact on the future regional and national elections in Nebraska and the United States? To answer this question, this project developed an interactive graphical tool to visually analyze various data sources from the U.S. Census Bureau and the University of Nebraska database. The tool is built using R shiny package and works as an online Dashboard. The users can conveniently reveal patterns in Latino population growth, track Hispanic political participation, compare Latino people with other races, and predict the several years of Latino population trends in Nebraska.
